It was a productive end to 2007 for Matt, and Mosquito. Having met up-and-coming New York Singer Songwriter, Samuel Reynolds through Professional Music website, "Song Tank", Matt and Sam recorded together late December 2007. The track Sam chose to sing on their first night of working together was "Fugitive".Matt was immediately taken by Sam's soulful, heartfelt vocal, backed by a melodic acoustic guitar, and set about producing a track that he hoped would do Sam's song justice.
