Mosquito in Battle Of Big Thinking!


November 2010

Mosquito were commissioned by Haymarket magazine's "Campaign" to produce and film, a 3 camera shoot, and subsequent edit of their prestigious event, "The Battle Of Big Thinking". http://www.bobtvideos.com/ Held at the British Library, it featured "
a diet of provocation, new ideas, neat and nickable observations, all served up in a great mixture of presentations and performance by the brightest people in the business."

Mosquito were commissioned by "Done and Dusted" to create a mix for "T4: Stars of 2010" for a section featuring Keith Lemmon of "Celebrity Juice" fame and Deanne Berry of "Call On Me" video fame. The dynamic duo performed an "energetic" aerobic routine to a bewildered Earls Court audience!

Mosquito TV Cover Printweek Power 100!

Mosquito were commissioned by Haymarket magazine's "Printweek", to film, produce and edit coverage of Printweek's Power 100, a countdown of the big players in the Print industry, and attended by the great and the good from that industry. Held at Stationers Hall in the heart of the City of London, the event was a huge success, and Mosquito TV were proud to capture the nights events for the magazine.

Mosquito were commissioned to do special sound design arrangments of popular 2010 Hits for Done and Dusted's "T4: On The Beach", for a music quiz featuring JLS. The segment was a big success and nearly stumped the lads.

Warner Bros Licence Mosquito Track For "The Mentalist"

Mosquito were thrilled to find out one of their tracks, "You Move Me" featuring the amazing vocals of Rob Elliott, has been licenced by Warner Bros for their hit show, "The Mentalist", broadcasting on CBS in the US, Five in the UK and all over the World. The episode is entitled "Rose-Colored Classes", and "You Move Me" features in the High School Reunion scene at the
top of the show.

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!

"Away you go!" Mosquito's rearrangement of the classic TV theme "We Are The Champions" is on air now as Sport Relief kicks off.

See it all this week (08/03/10) on the CBBC channel at 4.30 pm, or all next week mon to fri (15/03/10) on BBC1 at 4.30. It features Paddy McGuiness as Host, with a whole range of Sports stars as celeb guests, including Amir Khan.

FA "Respect" Campaign

Mosquito were asked to undertake the sound design for two new adverts for the FA's latest "Respect" campaign, aimed at players playing at all levels of football, including Children.

The adverts were officially launched at Wembley during England's International friendly against Eygpt.

"Pet Squad" Vocal Arrangement

Mosquito have been asked to do the vocal arrangement for an upbeat big band style title song for Darrall MacQueen's latest 52 part animated series entitled, "Pet Squad". Looks like it will be a quirky, fun show! Watch this space.

We Are The Champions!

Mosquito have been commissioned to update and do a re-arrangement of the classic Children's BBC theme tune for "We Are The Champions", as originally broadcast in the 70's and 80's, but returning for a week as part of BBC's Sport Relief.

It's been a great honour and great fun working on such a recognisable theme tune, and can't wait to hear it being sung by a whole new generation of kids.

"My Favourite Things" With Myleene Klass...

Matt Mosquito was recently approached by Cartoonito (SKY channel 619) to help arrange and produce a new version of The Sound Of Musics', "My Favourite Things" featuring the lovely Myleene Klass on Piano, and lots of working Mums and toddlers singing.

It's for a shiny new Promo featuring on the Cartoonito channel, and also got a mention in yesterday's "Sun" newspaper, in their TV Biz section.
